You can ask us to delete your AI Ebook Generator account and the personal data tied to it. This page explains what to send, how we verify a request, and what may need to be retained.
1. Submit a deletion request
- Email contact@aiebookgenerator.ai with the subject "Data Deletion Request."
- Send the request from the email address on your account, or state which account email the request concerns.
- Tell us whether you want the full account deleted or only a specific project or support record reviewed.
Do not send your password, a full payment-card number, or a copy of an identity document unless we specifically explain why additional verification is necessary.
2. Verification
We verify that the requester controls or is authorized to act for the account. We may send a confirmation to the account email or ask for limited information about the account. If we cannot verify the request, we will explain what is missing.
3. What deletion covers
After a verified full-account request, we remove the active account profile, password credential, linked Google sign-in identifier, projects, chapter content, and other workspace records associated with the account. A project deleted inside the service is removed from the active workspace without closing the account.
If you signed in with Google, deletion disconnects the Google identity from AI Ebook Generator. It does not delete your Google account. AI Ebook Generator does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, or Google contacts.
4. Billing and records we may retain
Deleting an account does not automatically resolve an unpaid balance or reverse a completed charge. Cancel your subscription in the billing portal before deletion, or ask us to cancel it in the same message. Stripe may retain transaction data under its own legal obligations.
We may retain limited billing, tax, fraud-prevention, security, consent, dispute, or legal records when required or permitted by law. We restrict retained data to those purposes and delete it when the reason for retention ends. Where routine backups exist, residual copies may remain until the backup is overwritten.
5. Timing and response
We process verified requests without undue delay and within any deadline required by applicable law. Complex or repeated requests may take longer where the law permits. We will tell you if we need more information, extra time, or must retain part of the data.
6. Other privacy requests
You may use the same email address to request access, correction, portability, restriction, or another privacy right available where you live. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
