This policy explains how Content Petit LLC collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data when you visit AI Ebook Generator, create an account, use the writing workspace, or contact us.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Content Petit LLC operates AI Ebook Generator and is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us using the details at the end of this page.
2. Data we collect
We collect the information needed to run the service:
- Account data: your email address, display name, password hash, verification status, and account identifiers.
- Google sign-in data: if you choose Google sign-in, we receive your Google account identifier, verified email address, name, and profile image. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, or your Google contacts.
- Book and workspace data: project titles, descriptions, outlines, chapter text, generation instructions, edits, and other material you submit or create.
- Billing data: subscription status, plan and price identifiers, renewal information, and Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. Stripe processes your payment details. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Technical data: IP address, request time, browser or device details sent with a request, session credentials, and security or error records.
- Communications: the content of messages you send to support and records of service emails sent to you.
We receive this data from you, from your browser or device, and from services you choose to connect, such as Google and Stripe.
3. How we use data
We use personal data to create and secure accounts, save and display manuscripts, generate requested content, process subscriptions, send service messages, answer support requests, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, enforce our terms, and meet legal obligations.
If data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract to provide the service, our legitimate interests in operating and securing it, compliance with law, and consent where we specifically ask for it. You may withdraw consent at any time, but that does not affect processing already completed.
4. AI processing
When you request an outline or chapter, the relevant instructions and book content are sent to OpenAI for processing. The response is returned to your workspace. Do not submit confidential, regulated, or sensitive personal data that is not needed for your book. AI Ebook Generator does not use your book content to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
5. When we disclose data
We disclose data only as needed to operate the service, complete a transaction, protect the service, or comply with law. Our service providers include:
- Amazon Web Services for cloud infrastructure and transactional email.
- OpenAI for requested AI generation.
- Stripe for checkout, subscription billing, and the customer billing portal.
- Google when you use Google sign-in or load Google-provided website resources.
- Hostinger for domain and business email services.
These providers process data under their own terms and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information to advisers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, establish or defend legal claims, investigate fraud or security issues, or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of business assets. We do not sell personal data or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Retention
We keep account and manuscript data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete a project, close your account, or make a valid deletion request, we delete or deidentify data that we no longer need, subject to legal, billing, fraud prevention, security, and dispute-resolution requirements. Transaction records may be kept as required for accounting and legal compliance. Where routine backups exist, residual copies may remain until those backups are overwritten.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the data we process. No online system is completely secure. Keep your login credentials private, use a unique password, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
8. International data transfers
Content Petit LLC is based in the United States. Our providers may process data in the United States, the European Economic Area, and other countries where they operate. When applicable law requires transfer safeguards, we use an approved legal mechanism or rely on another lawful basis for the transfer.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal data, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, and appeal or complain to a data protection authority. California residents may also have rights to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, request correction or deletion, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive equal service when exercising their rights.
We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, so there is no sale or advertising-sharing opt-out to submit. To exercise another right, email contact@aiebookgenerator.ai. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and connection to the account. You may use an authorized agent where applicable law allows it.
10. Children
The service is for people who can enter a binding contract and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from a child under 13. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version here and change the date above. If a change materially affects how we use personal data, we will provide additional notice where required.
